Teenage boy dies from cricket bat hit

A teenage boy was killed as he was allegedly hit with a cricket bat by his younger brother at Kazipara in the city' s Kafrul area on Sunda, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Md Sumon (14), son of late Tofazzal Hossain of the area.
Family members said Sumon was a drug addict and used to live separately from the family.
An altercation took place between Sumon and his younger brother Sajib as the elder went to the family residence at Matabbar Bari in Kazipara of Kafrul area on Sunday morning.
At one stage, Sajib hit Sumon in the head with a cricket bat.
