Teenage boy drowns in Rangpur

RANGPUR, May 14: A teenage boy drowned in a pond while taking bath at Shalbon area in Rangpur city Tuesday evening. The deceased was identified as Monirul Islam Ridoy (17), son of Rafiqul Islam of the area and a student of class ten of RCCI School and College in the city.
Later, he was rescued by locals and was rushed to Rangpur Medical College Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
