Teletalk special offer for GPA-5 recipients in HSC exam

Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd announced Friday that the company will distribute special SIM to the students who secured GPA-5 in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination, a high official of the operator announced. Managing Director of Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd Mujibur Rahman announced the package with an attractive call rate. The numbers of the SIMs will be 0152010xxxx and the rate will be 25 paisa/min from Teletalk to Teletalk and 65 paisa/min to other operators. The only local mobile phone company "Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd." arranged this programme for the second time for the country's brilliant students. Prominent educationist and author Dr Muhammad Jafar Iqbal was present as the special guest in the function. General Secretary of Bangladesh Gonit (Mathematics) Olympiad Association, Monir Hasan urged the students to say "no" to addiction. Principal of Dhaka Residential Model School and College Kamruzzaman Khan welcomed Teletalk for the initiative. He also advised the students to continue their studies and to do some thing for the nation. Pro-Vice-chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Habibur Rahman, General Manager of Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd Habibur Rahman, Marketing Director, Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd Abu Syed Joarder spoke, among others, on the occasion. Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd has also made announcement to distribute SIM to the students who achieved same results from 2003 to 2009. "Those students who failed to receive the SIM from the programme will be able to receive it from any customer care centre of Teletalk," a high official of Teletalk confirmed.
