Ten get 'Shada Moner Manush' awards

The award giving ceremony of 'Shada Moner Manush 2008' organised by the Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL) was held at a city hotel recently.
Ten personalities were selected this year as 'Shada Moner Manush'.
The personalities are Fajilatunnesa Bulu from Rangpur, Rokib-Ud-Dowla Akand from Gaibandha, Dr Khalekuzzaman from Rajshahi, Manobendra Nath Sarker from Comilla, Kanai Chandra Das from Chapainawabganj, Jahir Alam from Sylhet, Shamsuddin Mondol from Naogaon, Jahanara Begum from Khulna, Shrimath Tilokananda Mohathero from Rangamati and Shudhir Chandra Bardhon from Brahmanbaria.
They have been working ceaselessly, untiringly and unselfishly for the benefit and welfare of the people, society and country for a long time.
The ten individuals were rewarded with a gold medal and a crest by prominent personalities of the society.
Besides, an honorarium of Tk 0.1 million (1.0 lakh) was presented by the Unilever Bangladesh to each of them in recognition of their efforts.
