Ten tonnes of banned polythene seized in city

The Department of Environment (DoE) has seized 10 tonnes of banned polythene from a factory at Lalbagh in the city, reports UNB.
The DoE, in a drive, seized the banned polythene from 'Badsha Miah Polythene Factory on Thursday.
DoE Director (Monitor and Enforcement) Md Alamgir in collaboration with its executive magistrate Sheikh Kamal Hossain and assistant directors Hafizur Rahman conducted the drive.
