Tender floated for 3rd Shitalakhya bridge

The tender for constructing the 1290-meter-long third Shitalakhya bridge involving Tk 3.77 billion was floated on Wednesday. Communications Minister Obaidul Quader disclosed this at a meeting at the Secretariat on traffic jam and water logging problem due to the construction work of Moghbazar flyover. The minister said the work on the bridge over the Shitalakhya river is likely to begin in January, 2015 and end in 2018, according to a news agency.
