Tension runs high at DMC over Rajib killing

Hostility and tension are running high at Dhaka Medical College (DMC) over the death of Abul Kalam Asad Rajib, a leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of ruling Awami League (AL), reports bdnews24.com.
Adherents of the BCL group on Rajib's side took out a procession on the campus Thursday morning demanding trial of the killers.
Students from the rival group led by 'Ronnie' and Bidyut Barua brought out another procession afterwards. They burned up a banner demanding trial of the killers of Rajib, tore down posters and beat up one from the rival group.
