Tenure of two BCB selectors extended

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has extended the contract of national selectors Faruque Ahmed and Athar Ali Khan by one month till August 31, 2007, reports UNB.
The tenure of national chief selector Faruque Ahmed and selector Athar Ali Khan was due to expire on July 31.
They have agreed to continue for another one month for the greater interest of cricket to be available for selecting the national squad for the ICC Twenty20 World Cup Cricket and the national academy team for its tour to Australia.
Former national skipper Akram Khan was included in the three-member selection committee on June 1 before the Sri Lanka tour of Bangladesh national team to replace GM Nowsher Prince.
