Terengganu earn 5-3 victory over Chennai City
Bruno Castanheira makes hat-trick

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 22 (UNB): A superb hat-trick by Brazilian forward Bruno Suzuki Castanheira guided Terengganu FC of Malaysia to a 5-3 goal victory against Chennai City FC of India in the first Group B match of Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup Football Tournament at MA Aziz Stadium here on Tuesday.
Bruno Castanheira wrote a new record in the Sheikh Kamal Club Cup tournament scoring the highest number of four goals in a match while midfielder Rahmat Bin Makasuf scored other goal for the former Malaysia Cup champions.
On the other hand, Japanese midfielder Katsumi Yusa, forward Mashoor Shereef Thangalakath and Uruguayan-Spanish forward and Captain Pedro Manzi netted one goal each for the current I-League champions, Chennai City FC.
In the goal-fest game, midfielder Rahmat Bin Makasuf opened the account for Terengganu FC by a right-footed low-range shot off a pass from Bruno Suzuki Castanheira in the very 5th minute (1-0).
But, Japanese midfielder Katsumi Yusa levelled the margin for Chennai City in the 24th minute as Terengganu captain-cum-midfielder Lee Tuck made a silly mistake in the danger zone (1-1).
In the 34th minute, forward Mashoor Shereef punished Terengganu FC scoring the 2nd goal for Chennai City utilising a blunder by goalkeeper Ilham Amirullah Bin Razali in the danger zone (1-2).
After conceding two successive goals, Terengganu FC came alive and created strong pressure on their opponents.
Finally, Brazilian forward Bruno Suzuki Castanheira levelled the margin for the former Malaysia Cup champions scoring the 2nd goal (2-2).
