Terrorists kill Jubo Dal leader

JESSORE, Dec 8: A leader of Jatiytabadi Jubo Dal was killed by a group of terrorists at his business outlet at Laxmanpur under Sharsha Upazila in Jessore Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Solaiman Hossain (45), president of the Laxmanpur Union Parishad unit Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal and also a businessman of the locality.
BNP alleged that cadres of the ruling party killed Solaiman while he was attending his business outlet at around 8:30pm Monday.
Local people and police said a gang of terrorists attacked Solaiman with sharp weapons. The terrorists also hurled at least five hand bombs at the spot to create panic.
He was taken to the Nabharan Hospital by the local people soon after the incident but he died a few minutes later.
The body was taken to the Jessore General Hospital Tuesday morning for autopsy. A case was filed with the local police station in this connection.
One Jahangir Hossain was nabbed by the police in connection with the killing.
