Tetra Pak gets new MD in South Asia

Tetra Pak, the world's leading food processing and packaging solutions company recently announced the appointment of Kandarp Singh as their new Managing Director for South Asia Markets (SAM). In this role, Kandarp Singh will be responsible for the Tetra Pak business in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives, said a press statement. Kandarp Singh has spent more than 15 years in the Tetra Pak organisation, working across diverse functions and serving in markets like the UAE, Switzerland, Italy and Sweden. In his most recent international assignment, he was the managing director of Tetra Recart in Sweden. Kandarp Singh said, "Tetra Pak South Asia Markets is in a very exciting phase as we see continued strong growth in these markets in our core categories of ready to drink dairy and beverages. This will be largely driven by rapidly changing consumer dynamics".
