Textech Sri Lanka Int'l Expo from Feb 29

The Sri Lankan edition of the CEMS-Global USA's Textile Series of Exhibitions will be held in Colombo from February 29 to March 2, says a statement.
Sri Lanka's textile and garment industry will convene for the 11th Textech Sri Lanka 2024 International Expo on Textile, Garment Technology, and Machinery, alongside the 13th Colombo International Yarn & Fabric Show 2024 and the 43rd Dye+Chem Sri Lanka 2024 International Expo.
These exhibitions, organised by CEMS-Global USA, aim to foster collaboration, showcase technologies, and enhance trade relationships within the sector.
The organisers announced the exhibitions at a press conference at a hotel in Colombo recently.
CEMS Global USA, known for its B2B trade exhibitions, focuses on textiles through its textile series of exhibitions, held in various countries including Bangladesh, Brazil, Morocco, Sri Lanka and Thailand, providing a platform for global manufacturers of the textile and apparel sector to tap into potential markets and showcase innovations.
The 11th edition of Textech Sri Lanka will continue its tradition of being a platform for textile and garment machinery and technology, featuring exhibitors from around the world and highlighting innovations.
Concurrently, the 13th Colombo Yarn and Fabric Show will display a range of yarns, fabrics, and related materials, catering to various manufacturing applications in fashion, home textiles, and technical textiles.
Complementing these exhibitions is the 43rd Dyechem Sri Lanka International Expo, dedicated to showcasing eco-friendly solutions and advancements in dyeing and chemical processing for the textile and garment sector.
The events cover the textile value chain, offering visitors the opportunity to network with manufacturers and forge new partnerships.
