Thakurgaon Sadar UZ polls suspended

The Election Commission (EC) on Sunday suspended the Upazila (UZ) Parishad election to Thakurgaon Sadar upazila scheduled to be held on Monday. The 5th phase of the 4th UZ elections will be held a across the country tomorrow. “We have suspended the election to Thakurgaon Sadar due to a court order,” Election Commissioner Shah Nawaz said on Sunday, according to UNB.
