The closing and prize-giving ceremony of Bangladesh Army Firing Competition-2026 was held at Comilla

The closing and prize-giving ceremony of Bangladesh Army Firing Competition-2026 was held at Comilla Cantonment on Thursday. Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest. The 17 Infantry Division emerged as champions in the competition while the Para Commando Brigade became runners-up. Piyal Mondal of the 17 Infantry Division was adjudged the best firer and Tanvir Hossain of the 10 Infantry Division became the second-best firer while Jaba Akter of the 24 Infantry Division became the best female firer.
