The ecological hazards of air pollution

Monday, 25 March 2019

The well-informative article "The ecological hazards of air pollution", published on the Financial Express on March 21, 2019 reveals that air pollution in Dhaka city is deteriorating day by day.
A number of occupational and environmental factors are associated with an increased incidence of lung cancer.
Vehicle density, with many of those using obsolete technology for fume exhaust, is the main culprit for the air quality deterioration.
Everybody has a right to clean air. Planting trees in the city is essential for improving the quality of air. The strategy should focus on stopping the pollution and improving the overall environment.
