The hero of the match

Saturday, 21 June 2014

Guillermo Ochoa, the Mexican goalkeeper stunned the world by making a series of heroic saves that helped his country against the formidable soccer team Brazil to earn a thrilling 0-0 draw in the World Cup Group A.
Even though both teams got 4 points, Brazil is still ahead on goal difference. It may change the result after the upcoming game between Brazil and Cameroon, and Mexico vs Croatia.
In the 26th minute, Ochoa was able to prevent his first remarkable save from a powerful header by Neymar, the famous Brazilian striker. Ochoa's performance on the series of other saves was also miraculous.  His coach Miguel Herrera called him, "The hero of the match."
Thomas Muller of Germany scored the first hat-trick in the 2014 World Cup against Portugal in a 4-0 win.
Gerd Muller, the German player ranked the second highest goal-scorer in the history of World Cup soccer. He scored 14 World Cup goals. He is the only footballer to score World Cup hat-tricks twice in 1970.
The two Mullers are not a relative to each other.
