The state-owned Agrani Bank Limited has undergone a name change. From now on, the bank will be known as 'Agrani Bank PLC'. This change was approved at the third extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of the bank held on Thursday. Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr Zaid Bakht, Joint Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division of the Finance Ministry Nahid Hossain, Directors Biswajit Bhattacharya Khokon NDC, Mafiz Uddin Ahmed, Kashem Humayun, KMN Manjurul Haque Labloo, Khondker Fazle Rashid, Tanjina Ismail, Md Shahadat Hossain, and Mohammad Masud Rana Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of the bank Md Murshedul Kabir, and Observer and Executive Director of Bangladesch Bank Zakir Hossain Chowdhury attended the meeting.
