Thirteen persons killed in separate incidents

Thirteen persons were killed and many others injured in separate incidents at different places of the country during the last two days report agencies.
In Chittagong, two women died of heatstroke in the city during the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile: two persons died in separate incidents in the city Saturday and Sunday.
Police and hospital sources said one of the victims was identified as Moni Akter, daughter of Omar Faruq in Sikolbaha area under Karnaphuli Thana in the city.
In another incident, an unidentified elderly man was critically injured when a passenger bus knocked him down from behind while he was crossing a road in Pahartali area in the city.
In Pabna, a dacoit ringleader was killed during an 11-hour combing operation by the joint forces in remote Dhalar Char area of Bera Upazila early Sunday.
Meanwhile: one person was killed and seven others injured in a road accident at Library Bazar crossing in the district town Saturday.
In Bagherhat, a group of miscreants hacked a boy, Dalim Khan to death with sharp arms at Alti Buruzbaria village under Morhelganj Upazila of the Friday.
In Comilla, two people were killed and two others injured in separate road accidents in the district Sunday.
In the first accident, a man was killed and two others were injured when a bus rammed into an auto-rickshaw at Nowadda on Daudkandi-Matlab road Sunday afternoon.
Yet in another accident, a man was crushed under the wheels of a covered van on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway.
In Jamalpur, a young man was killed by miscreants at Charlotabar village in Madarganj Upazila early Saturday.
In Thakurgaon, a young man allegedly committed suicide at Greya Dangipukur village in Sadar Upazila early Friday.
In Sherpur, a housewife allegedly committed suicide by taking poison failing to endure the torture by her husband and mother-in-law at Ghaimara village in Nalitabari Upazila
