Thirty, including 11 children, held in Satkhira

Detectives arrested 30 Bangladesh nationals, including 11 children, who were allegedly returning home from India illegally through a Satkhira border. They were picked up from Kumira Bazar at Tala upazila of the district on Sunday afternoon, sources at the Detective Branch (DB) of police, Satkhira. The arrestees include 13 men, 11 children and six women, residents of Bagerhat and Pirojpur districts. Being tipped off, team of detectives conducted a drive and detained 30, who were entering the country from India’s West Bengal illegally. Legal actions are being taken in this regard, the sources said, according to a news agency.
