Awami League (AL) general secretary Obaidul Quader said on Monday legal action will be taken against those who have breached party discipline, reports UNB.
"Not only organisational action but administrative and legal actions will be taken for breaching party discipline," he said.
The AL leader came up with the remarks while talking to reporters after a view-exchange meeting at BRTC conference room in the city.
"Those who are involved in corruption , misdeeds and controversial activities won't be spared, no matter how powerful they are. The Prime Minister has adopted a zero-tolerance policy in this regard," said Quader, also road transport and bridges minister.
The Prime Minister is receiving allegations about leaders and activists from her own cell and investigating the allegations, he said
