Food Minister Advocate Quamrul Islam said Sunday those who are talking about dialogue instead of taking stand against hostility are the actors of 1/11, reports BSS.
"We have to uproot them from the society," he said when speaking as the chief guest at a rally in front of Jatiya Press Club, organised by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote.
The minister said "those, who kill people hurling petrol bomb, are not human being, they are terrorists. There can be no dialogue with those terrorists... no question is arising to discuss with them. If they want to sit for dialogue, they must stop killing people and bomb attack first," he said.
Quamrul said members of civil society are not able to help the wounded people but they do instigate. "They walk through middle of the road and give suggestions by holding meetings and seminars."
Presided over by general secretary and spokesperson of the Jote Arun Sarkar, the rally was also addressed by state minister for women and children affairs Meher Afroz Chumki and Dhaka City Awami League Organising secretary Shahe Alam Murad, among others.
Meher Afroz Chumki said, "No mother can ruin her children's future. She (Khaleda) introduces herself as Deshnetry (leader of the country). But she is killing innocent people of the country by instigating bomb attacks."
