Three arrested for bank looting

CHITTAGONG, Sept 18 (UNB): Police arrested three people Thursday night for their alleged involvement in looting Noapara branch of the United Commercial Bank Limited (UCBL) under Raojan Upazila.
They also seized from their possessions the looted Tk 0.55 million (5.5 lakh) and the keys used for looting the bank.
The arrestees were identified as Shamsul Alam (47) of Satkania Upazila and Abul Kasem (45) of Noapara area in the district and Mohammad Didarul Alam (35), son of Monjur Alam of Dulahajra in Cox's Bazar District.
