Three arrested for forging currency in city

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three members of an organised gang for making counterfeit currencies along with fake taka and equipment for producing those from Hazaribagh in the old city, reports BSS.
Being informed, RAB-2 personnel arrested Suman (25), Kamola (20) and Md Mamun (24) after raiding a flat at Paschim Hazaribagh, its adjoining Jhauchar Care Hospital and a kitchen market since 7.00 pm Sunday to 2.30 am Monday, said additional police super Raihan Uddin Khan.
They recovered fake Tk 15.9 million and equipment of making those including scanner machine, printer, special ink, different kinds of dices and chemicals from their possession, he said.
A case was lodged in this regard.
