Three arrested with Yaba

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) personnel in separate drives arrested three alleged drug traders from two places in Faridpur district on Friday. The elite force also recovered some Yaba tablets from them. The arrested are Md Ashraf Mia, 32, Md Chunnu Khan, 22, and Manjurul Hassan Jhantu, 35. Being tipped-off, a Rab-8 team led by Company Commander Major Mojammel Hossain and ASP Aminur Rahman raided Kaichal village at Nagarkanda Upazila and nabbed Ashraf and Chunnu with 510 pieces of Yaba while they were waiting for selling the contraband tablets. In a separate drive, the Rab members arrested Manjurul from a railway slum near Guha Lakhsmipur area of the town and recovered 100 pieces of Yaba from him, according to a news agency.
