Three BNP, Jamaat men land in jail

JHALAKATI, Sept 10 (UNB): A court sent on Wednesday three leaders of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami to jail in a case filed in connection with an arson attack.
Jhalakati Special Tribunal Judge SM Solaiman passed the order rejecting their bail petitions when they surrendered before the court seeking bail.The arrestees were BNP leaders Taijul Islam and Mamun Master and Jamaat leader Jannatul Islam.
A case was filed against them in connection with the arson attack on a bus in Balaigari area during the hartal and blockade programme.
