Three die as cyclone Hamoon batters Ctg, Cox's Bazar

Three persons died in Chattogram and Cox's Bazar districts as cyclone Hamoon battered the coastal regions of Bangladesh, police said.
In Chattogram, a woman died after a tree fell on her house due to the cyclone, said Milton Biswas, the Satkania Upazila Nirbahi officer, report agencies.
The victim is 65-year-old Bakuma Khatun from ward-5 of Khagria Union, while another person died in Saral union of Banshkhali upazila.
Meanwhile, a person died in Cox's Bazar. The dead is Abdul Khaleque (40) of Pahartali area of the city.
Confirming the incident, Cox's Bazar Additional SP Rafiqul Islam said the town has been without electricity since Tuesday evening.
