Three die at Ijtema

Three people have died in Biswa Ijtema at Tongi. All the three devotees died of cardiac arrest on Thursday night, said Md Adam Ali, in charge of the morgue at Ijtema ground. The deceased were Tejam Sarkar, 72, from Magura’s Shalikha, Noor Alam, 65, from Noakhali’s Durgapur and Abdul Latif, 75, of Comilla’s Debidar. The second phase of Biswa Ijtema commenced with sermons after Fajr prayers on Friday. It will conclude with Sunday’s Akheri Munaja (concluding prayers), according to bdnews24.com.
