Three die in Ctg wall collapse

Three people, including two minor girls, were killed in a wall collapse in Chittagong city on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Akhi, 5, and Mariam Begum, 30, her two-year-old daughter Suraiya. Deputy Director Mohammad Jasim Uddin of the Fire Service and Civil Defence, Chittagong, said the incident took place in Lalkhan Bazar early in the morning. He said excess flow of water due to incessant rain caused the wall collapse, killing the three people on the spot, according to a news agency.
