Three die of dengue, death toll reaches 198

Three more dengue deaths were reported in the last 24-hours until Tuesday morning, pushing the death toll from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh to 198 this year.
Moreover, 556 new patients were admitted to hospitals with the viral fever, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 47,342 this year.
According to DGHS, all of the deceased were males aged 38, 68 and 33. Their deaths were reported in two hospitals of Barishal division.
Some 137 cases of hospitalisation were reported in Barishal division (out of city corporation), 70 in Chattogram (out of CC), 79 in Dhaka (out of CC), 101 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 113 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 28 in Mymensingh (out of CC), 25 in Rajshahi (out of CC), and 3 in Sylhet division (out of CC).
