Three die of food poisoning in Ctg

Three girls of a family died apparently of food poisoning at Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) in the early hours of Friday. Hospital sources said, the victims are - Nisha Begum (6), Afroza Begum (16) and Hosneara Begum (18), daughters of Ali Ahmed of Rongikhali area under Teknaf in Cox's Bazar. Victims' father Ali Ahmed said, his daughters fell sick with severe stomach pain after having dinner along with other family members. They were instantly rushed to Cox's Bazar Hospital for treatment. As the condition of the patients deteriorated, they were shifted to the CMCH where Nisha and Hosneara died at about 3am, and Afroza at 5am. — BSS
