Three held on charge of selling OMS rice in the black market

SATKHIRA, Sept 28 (UNB): Joint forces Thursday arrested three people, including OC LSD of Sadar godown, for selling rice of Open Market Sale in the black market.
The arrested are OC LSD Nurul Haque Gazi, OMS rice dealer Niranjan Sarker and Jhaudanga Bazar rice trader Gopal Sarker.
The police said Nurul Haque secretly sold 18 sacks of government rice to the trader through the dealer on September 24. On information, police later seized the rice from the market on the same day. A case was filed in this connection.
