Three, including Musa, on remand for Shahjahanpur double murder

A Dhaka court has placed three accused, including key suspect Sumon Shikder Musa, on remand in a case lodged over the murder of Awami League leader Jahidul Islam Tipu and college student Samia Afrin Prity in the city's Shahjahanpur area on March 24, reports BSS.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ahammed Humayun Kabir placed Musa on a four-day remand and Imran Hossain Jitu and Rakibur Rahman Rakib on a two-day remand each as police produced them before the court on Friday.
Another court on June 10 had placed Musa, believed to be the mastermind behind the double-murder, on a six-day remand.
