Three killed by lightning in Joypurhat

JOYPURHAT, Sept 24: Three persons including two minor boys were killed by lightning at Pallibala village under Sadar Upazila Wednesday noon in the district.
Local people and police said a woman named Bali Begum (40), wife of Mizanur Rahman went to bring her cattle from the field. Hashim (10), son of Hakim and Imon (7), son of Mongla were playing in the same field when lightning struck them and they died on the spot.
A head of cattle was also killed at that time.
