Three killed in Iran oil well fire

TEHRAN, May 29 (AFP): Three people were killed and another 12 were hurt when an oil well caught fire in western Iran on Saturday, that state television website reported.
The blaze broke out at around 6:35 am (2:05 GMT) when a well in the town of Naftshahr in western Kermanshah province caught fire after gas leaked from drilling machinery, a local official said.
"Three people have been killed and 12 others injured," Bahram Teymouri was quoted as saying on the website, adding that six were in critical condition.
