Three killed in Jessore road mishap

JESSORE, Jan 29: Three teenaged people were killed in road mishap at Srirampur on Jessore-Narail Road under Bagharpara upazila in Jessore on Wednesday noon.
The dead were identified as Mohammad Rubel, 15, driver of a Nasimon and passengers -- Abdul Gafur, 17 and Habibur Rahman, 12, all of Srirampur village.
Joudeb Kumar Bhadra, superintendent of police, Jessore  told  that the accident took place at around 12:30pm at Srirampur  on Jessore-Narail Road while a passenger bus ran over the Nasimon, a human hauler killing two on the spot. Habibur was taken to Jessore Medical College Hospital where the attending doctor declared him dead.
The driver of the bus fled the scene leaving the bus on the spot after the incident, said the police.
