Three killed in Kishoreganj road accident

KISHOREGANJ, Aug 21 (UNB): Three people killed and 10 others were injured as a bus rammed an auto-rickshaw in Boratia area on Dhaka-Kishoreganj highway in Pakundia upazila on Thursday morning.
Among the deceased, two were identified as Shopon, 55, a fish trader and Ahmad Ali, 35.
Zakir Rabbani, officer-in-charge of Pakundia Police Station, said the accident took place when a Dhaka-bound bus of Jalshiri Paribahan from Kotiadi crashed into the auto rickshaw around 11:30am, leaving the three people dead on the spot and 10 others injured.
