Three killed in Rangpur road mishaps

RANGPUR, Dec 4 (BSS): Three persons including a teenaged girl were killed in separate incidents at different places in the district Fridaynight, police sources said.
Sonia Akhter (12), daughter of Abu Taher of Kusthia district, took poison and became ill following a spat with her mother at the residence of her elder sister at village Kamdebpur under Sadar Upazila here.
Later, relatives rushed her to Rangpur Medical College Hospital (RMCH) where she succumbed Friday night.
One Farooque (16), son of Mansur Ali of village Sapdi under Kawnia Upazila in Rangpur, allegedly took poison after his parents rebuked him and died at home.
Ripan (25), son of Syed Ali of Dinajpur district town, fell seriously ill at his home following mysterious reasons and he was rushed to the RMCH in a critical condition where he died.
Three separate unnatural death cases were filed in these connections with the respective police stations, the sources said.
