Three killed in separate incidents in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Feb 26 (BSS): Three persons including a female mental patient were killed in separate incidents at different places in the district last night, police sources said. Youth Aminul Islam (22), son of Khoka Mian of Dhap Chiklirvata area under Sadar Upazila of Rangpur fell seriously ill after taking poison at home in a bid to commit suicide. He was rushed to Rangpur Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in critical conditions where he died last night. Mental patient Mebena Begum (24), daughter of Syed Ali of village Saddya Puskurini under Sadar Upazila in Rangpur allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at home. Hassan (18), son of Anisar Rahman of village Velurpara under Biral Upazila in Dinajpur was seriously injured in a road accident and rushed to the RMCH where he succumbed last night. Three unnatural death cases were filed in these connections with the respective police stations, the sources said.
