Three more children die of measles-like symptoms in 24 hours

Three more children died of measles and measles-like symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours until 8:0 am on Monday.
One of them died of measles and two others died with measles-like symptoms, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The figures were revealed in the latest bulletin of the DGHS on the day.
According to the health authorities, the number of suspected measles patients in the past 24 hours was 1,170.
On the other hand, the  number of total suspected measles cases reached 24,776 from March 15 to April 20, the DGHS reported.
During the period, some 16,172 patients were admitted to hospitals across the country.
The number of confirmed measles patients in the past 24 hours was 174 while the total number of confirmed measles cases in the country was reported at 3,617 since March 15 last.
During the reporting period, a total of 13,258 people had recovered from the disease and also returned from hospitals.
