Three more die from dengue, nine hospitalised

Three more persons died from dengue in the last 24 hours until Friday morning, raising the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh to 27 this year, reports UNB.
During the period, nine more patients were hospitalised with viral fever, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of them, three patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city, while the rest were outside the capital.
A total of 116 patients are now receiving treatment at several hospitals across the country.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh reported 10 more COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours until Friday morning.
With the new numbers, the country's total Covid-19 caseload rose to 2,050,038, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
