Three NCL matches end in draw

Three matches of the Walton 15th National Cricket League ended in draw due to inclement weather on the 4th and final day at three different venues across the country Sunday, reports UNB.
Dhaka Metro drew against Barisal Division at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah, Rajshahi Division drew with Rangpur Division at Rangpur Cricket Garden while Chittagong Division drew with Khulna Division at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra.
Earlier, Sylhet Division earned an emphatic nine-wicket victory against Dhaka Division on the 3rd day of the four-day affairs at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna Saturday.
Dhaka Metro, having 400 runs in the first innings, resumed the 2nd innings Sunday morning with overnight total of 106 for 4 in 27
overs against Barisal Division and scored 123 runs for 5 wickets in 30.1    overs before the match was called off at 2 pm due to insufficient light.
Asif Ahmed of Dhaka Metro, who hammered a double century scoring 200 runs off 327 balls featuring 24 boundaries in the 1st innings and claimed two wickets for 31 runs, was adjudged man of the match.

Rajshahi Division vs Rangpur Division:
The day's another match between Rajshahi Division and Rangpur Division was not held for the third successive day (2nd day to 4th day) Sunday due to rain and unplayable ground at the Rangpur Cricket Garden.
Saiful Islam of Rajshahi Division claimed 6 wickets for 39 runs in his 12.1 overs spell in the 1st innings and was adjudged man of the match.

Mohammad Moniruzzaman of Chittagong Division claimed 5 wickets in the first innings to be adjudge man of the match.
