Three players share lead after 4th round

Three players shared the lead in the points table with full 4 points each after 4th round of the Gazi Habibur Rahman International Rating Chess Tournament at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall room in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
They are GM Ziaur Rahman of Dhaka Mohmammedan SC, IM Minhaz Uddin of Bangladesh Navy and FM Mehdi Hasan Parag of Leonine Chess Club.
FM Mohammad Javed, Shawkat Hossain Pollab, Uten, CM Mahtabuddin Ahmed, Abdullah Al-Saif, FM Rezaul Haque, S M Sharon and P J Bakul Barua shared the second slot with 3.5 points each from 4 rounds.
In the 4th round games, Zia beat CM Sohel Chowdhury, Minhaz defeated Masum Hossain, Parag outplayed Ikramul Haq Siam, Uten played draw against Reza, Mahtab drew with Sharon, Pollab defeated FM Saif Uddin Lavlu, Javed trounced Minhazul, Saif beat Shahnaz M Faruk , Bakul defeated Shafiq and Almsur  played draw with Amir Hossain.
