Three players share lead in Deaf Chess

Three players are sharing lead in the points table with full 2 points in men's section of the 1st SAARC International Deaf Chess tournament being held at the hall room of the Bangladesh Chess Federation in the city, reports BSS.
They are Obaidul Islam Shahin and M Aminul Islam Lipon of Bangladesh, and Suraj Kumar Shrestha of Nepal.
In the women's section, Alefa Akhter Nupur and Sonia Khatun of Bangladesh are jointly leading the points table with maximum 2 points after 2nd round.
In the day's men's 2nd round games held Friday, Shahin beat Upal Shantha Dissanayake of Sri Lanka, Lipon beat M Ali Newaz Khan, Suraj beat Javed Aslam Qureshi of Pakistan, Muhammad Suleman of Pakistan beat Asanka Lankadeva of Sri Lanka and Gurpreet Singh of India beat Jangbu Sherpa of Nepal.
