Three pro-AL lawyers sent to jail in Sylhet

SYLHET, Mar 3 (UNB): A Sylhet court sent on Tuesday three pro-Awami League lawyers to jail in the Jubo League leader Abdul Ali killing case.
Sessions Judge Khandakar Kamaluzzaman passed the order when the trio surrendered before his court seeking bail.
The lawyers are additional public prosecutor Mahfuzur Rahman, also publicity secretary of district Awami League, unit member Ajmal Ali and Habibur Rahman.
Court sources said the three lawyers had been on bail granted by the High Court. They turned up before the lower court Tuesday on expiry of the HC bail.
Local Jubo League leader Abdul Ali was shot dead at Katakhal in Companyganj upazila on October 24 in 2014.
