Three to die for murders in two dists

Courts in Jhalakathi and Sunamganj districts on Monday sentenced three men to death and six others to life term imprisonments in separate murder cases, reports UNB.
In Jhalakathi, a court sentenced two people to death and three others to life term imprisonment for killing a housewife in 2002.
The condemned convicts are Sheikh Khairul Hasan and Pilton Das of Rajpasha village in Sadar upazila.
In Sunamganj, a court sentenced a man to death and three others to life term imprisonments in a murder case filed in 2016.
The convict who got death penalty was identified as Abdunnur while the lifers were Habibur Rahman, 45, Idris Mia, 47, and Shahanur Mia of Shimultola village in Tahirpur Upazila.
