Three transport workers killed in city road accident

Three transport workers were killed in a road accident on the Airport Road in the city's Khilkhet area just after Wednesday midnight. The deceased were identified as bus helper Sajib (28) and two conductors - Ripon (20) and Delwar (20). Police said the accident took place at about 1:00am when a speedy truck hit an airport-bound bus of the Turag Paribahan from behind, leaving the three workers of the bus injured. Later, the three injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared them dead after admission. — UNB
