Three-way clash in Uttara

A three-way clash between police, Awami League activists and protesters has erupted at Azampur in Dhaka's Uttara, reports bdnews24.com.
The clash began at 12:30pm on Sunday. As reported around 1pm, police used tear shells and sound grenades amid chases and counter-chase to try and bring the situation under control. The tear-shell smoke engulfed the entire area.
Previously, protesters took control of the road stretching from Uttara BNS Centre to Azampur. When the Awami League activists took up positions there, the protesters chased them.
The three-way clash erupted when police intervened in the scuffle between Awami League activists and protesters.
