Thrust on adopting Islamic financial system

Islamic financial system and Islamic banking could be followed as model to withstand the economic crisis around the world as dishonesty and disbelief are the main cause of present economic crisis.
It was observed at a reception programme organised by Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) held at Asteria Club of New York in USA recently, says a press release.
IBBL Chairman Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher was present was the chief guest and Consul General Shamsul Haque of Bangladesh Consulate in New York was the special guest of the function.
IBBL Managing Director M Fariduddin Ahmad addressed the function conducted by Coordinator of the meeting Mahtab Uddin.
Abduz Zaher admired Bangladeshi expatriates as they send remittance to the country working hard in the competitive job market of USA. He pointed out that the remittance sent by the expatriates plays a significant role to fortify the economy of the country. He said IBBL is committed to keep itself aloof from any temptation of profitable investment, which goes against the interest of the country and national economy.
Fariduddin Ahmad presented different features of success and progress of IBBL and its contribution to the development of the country.
