Thrust on improving business, investment with Thailand

The newly appointed Ambassador of Bangladesh to Thailand, Kazi Imtiaz Hossain, made a courtesy call on President of Bangladesh Thai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTCCI) MA Momen at his office in the city Sunday.
They discussed matters of mutual interests, mainly on how to improve business and investment, between the two friendly countries-Bangladesh and Thailand.
Mr Momen conveyed his gratitude to the Bangladesh embassy in Thailand for extending cooperation to BTCCI during the Road Show Meet held in Bangkok in December 2009.
He sought more cooperation from the Bangladesh embassy and the ambassador regarding information relating to business in Thailand, trade fairs and visits of business delegations of both the countries in future.
The BTCCI chairman suggested that a desk for BTCCI and other important chamber bodies might be set up at the Bangladesh Mission office to help promote information networking and logistics support to be rendered like that of the Thai Trade Centre based in Dhaka.
Kazi Imtiaz Hossain thanked the BTCCI president for his time, fruitful suggestions and opinion expressed so vividly and assured him on his and the Bangladesh embassy's behalf to extend all possible help and cooperation to promote business, trade and investment between our two friendly countries.
