Thrust on merchant bank efficiency in economic development

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Managers of Bangladesh (ICSMB) organized a workshop on "Role of Merchant Bank in the Economic Development of the Country" and "Time Management" recently in the city.
Under its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme at BIAM Auditorium, the workshop was attended by a large number of Members and Qualified Chartered Secretaries of ICSMB.
Mr. Mansur Alam Member, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) chaired the session on "Role of Merchant Bank in the Economic Development of the Country"
Mr. M Shakil Islam Bhuiyan, Head of Merchant Banking Division, LankaBangla Finance Limited, presented the keynote paper on "Role of Merchant Bank in the Economic Development of the country" and answered different question of audience.
Mr. Mohammad Sanaullah Past President and Council Member, ICSMB and Director Corporate Affairs, Singer Bangladesh Limited chaired the session oil "Time Management".
Mr. A. H. Mostafa KamaL Khan, Director, Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM) presented the keynote paper on "Time Management" and discussed different dimensions of time management and provided a guideline how the executives can use their allocated time efficiently.
Mr. Mohammad Asad Nah FCS, President of the institute delivered his welcome speech of the CPD program.
The members present were highly appreciated the Council foi arianging CPD on such important topics towards the development of the members of the Institute.
